Dear Parents, Thank you for making faith formation a priority and for trusting us with the care of your precious children! In his beautiful apostolic exhortation, On Catechesis In Our Time, St. Pope John Paul II stated that "before Christ ascended to His Father, after His resurrection, he gave the apostles a final command -- to make disciples of all the nations and to teach them to observe all that He had commanded." This is how Jesus wants the Good News of God's love to reach every person, so that together we may become a People of God. Today we call the "Good News" the Gospel, the "People of God" the Church, and the mission to "Teach and make disciples of all nations" Catechesis, which is Greek for "instruction by word of mouth." A catechist is a person who is called to this mission by the Holy Spirit. We are all called to proclaim the Good News in the way we live our lives. The first and best catechists in the life of every child are his or her parents. We want to partner with you to raise up a new generation of Catholics who know and love Jesus Christ and live as His disciples. Sincerely, Liz Adams |

Safe Environment Compliance
As mandated by the Diocese of Rockville Centre, in the effort to keep all our programs and participants (especially youth and vulnerable populations safe), ALL volunteers, employees, and clergy MUST make and maintain an online Virtus account, sign-off on codes of conduct, submit to a background screening (every 5 years), and attend a VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children workshop. Details on the requirements and process for compliance can be found HERE.
